What was your first job?

What is your earliest computing memory?
The Cushing Hall of Engineering at Notre Dame housed its computer in one room and a bank of card punch booths in another. At 9 pm, they would shut down the computer room in order to pay a student monitor for just 15 minutes before the hour. So, when you flubbed your typing on a punch card and didn't notice it, you had 15 minutes to rectify your error and re-run the program before the next shut down. Harrowing!
